The local city police have nabbed two persons for demanding a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from a local businessman.

While addressing mediapersons, SSP Gaurav Toora said one of the suspects had been identified as Billu while the other was a juvenile. The SSP said three sets of mobile phones had been recovered from them that had been used to make calls from the foreign numbers.

The SSP said the suspects had called the businessmanand demanded ransom for Rs 10 lakh from him. They had threatened to kill him if he failed to give them the demanded amount, he added.
