Two snatchers nabbed, mobile phone recovered

The city police have nabbed two snatchers and recovered a snatched iPhone 13 and motorcycle used in the crime within a few hours of snatching incident reported here today. The arrested suspects were identified as Lovepreet Singh, alias Love, and Sunny Sahota, alias Bilu, both residents of Sultanwind village.

In her complaint, Deepika Rani from Delhi stated to the police that she along with her family was returning from Darbar Sahib in the middle of the night. When they reached near Gaah Mandi Chowk, two bike-borne persons snatched victim’s mobile phone from her hand. A case was registered and probe initiated into the matter.

Baljinder Singh Aulakh, SHO, Division A police station, said the suspects were arrested and produced in a court which sent them to two-day remand. A case was registered against suspects, he said.
