A delegation of members of gurdwara committees from the UK and representatives of various Sikh organisations met officials at the office of Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh and requested them to take strict action against Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale, a religious preacher, and his supporter Harinder Singh.

Prominent members of the delegation included Mahinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh and Gurwak Singh. The officials told the delegation that their complaints would be put before the Jathedar. They said a five-member committee was already looking into the issue. The delegation was informed that the Jathedar would pronounce his verdict on the basis of committee’s report. — TNS
