Amritsar, October 16
The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of NEET-2020, late in the evening today. The entrance exam for medical studies was conducted on September 13 amid Covid-19 restrictions after being deferred twice due to the pandemic.
Just like the exam, accessing the results was also quite exhausting for the candidates as the official website of the NTA, ntaneet.nic.in crashed twice due to technical reasons. The website showed ‘results will be available soon’ as heavy traffic to access results began as soon as the score cards were updated. The NTA NEET result was released at 4 pm on Friday. Along with the scores, NTA also declared the rank cards and final answer sheets for candidates to recheck.
In Amritsar, out of a total of 3,091 candidates, about 85 per cent took the NEET examination. As many as 515 teachers were appointed to conduct the examination.
