Leaders of Akali Dal Waris Punjab De claimed that workers and leaders of different political parties from Ajnala have joined their party.
Addressing media persons here on Wednesday, Tarsem Singh, father of pro-Khalistan sympathiser and Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh, said his party got a political boost when former Sarpanch of village Galib from Ajnala assembly constituency, Charanjit Singh Galib, who had contested the assembly elections in 2022 on behalf of the United Sangharsh Party Punjab and the United Samaj Morcha, joined the party along with his supporters. Former Director of the Agri Support Corporation of the Aam Aadmi Party from Dera Baba Nanak, Channan Singh, also joined along with his supporters, expressing faith in his party.
Tarsem Singh welcomed them and said their joining will further strengthen the party’s ideological and Panthic front. He said that Akali Dal Waris is a symbol of Punjab’s politics based on truth, justice and Sikh principles, with which people of all classes now identify. He said that this joining is not just political, but is an expression of Panthic and Punjabi culture, with which a new chapter of true Sikh politics is starting in Punjab.
Akali Dal Waris Punjab warmly welcomed them and their associates into the party by presenting them siropas and wished them well for playing a creative role on the Panthic front.
