Phagwara, January 19

Kamla Nehru Public School, Chak Hakim, Phagwara, organised a plantation drive in collaboration with the Phagwara Environment Association, here today.

A total of 21 international delegates planted 25 saplings in 25 seconds on the school premises.

Mika Vanhanen, CEO, ENO School Net Association, the founder of ENO, Finland, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He was welcomed by KK Sardana, president, Phagwara Environment Association. As many as 20 International Ms Multinational contestants, Chairman, Glamanand, Director, Glamanand, members of the Lions Club, Inner wheel Club and Rotary Club also joined the event.

They took an oath to promote UNO 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Ms Multinational from New Zealand, USA, Venezuela, Mexico, Indonesia, Algeria, Belgium, Myanmar, Brazil, France, Zimbabwe, Russia, Malaysia, Ghana, Philippines, Japan planted a sapling on the occasion.
