The National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today hoped that the abrogation of Article 370 would remove various hurdles pertaining to long-pending demands of the state government employees, pensioners and to absorb thousands of daily rated workers into regular service, who continue to suffer due to the apathetic attitude of the government.

“The Prime Minister on record has said with the abrogation of Article 370,all benefits to Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory would automatically pass on to its employees. We hope this materialises soon,” said Subash Shastri, president NMC, while addressing a workers meet at Khamab village in RS Pura.

Among others who were also present on the occasion included Rajan Babu Khajuria, BS Jamwal, Ramesh Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Suraj Parkash, Darshan Baba, Swaran Bhagat, Vijay Bhagat, Girdhari Lal, Sudesh Bhagat, Joginder Bhagat and several others.
