Admission process has been started for Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology by Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU).
GADVASU registrar Dr S Prabhakar said to meet the human resource requirement in the field of para-veterinary, the university started diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology.
Prabhakar said it was a two-year course offered at Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani, Bathinda and Baba Hira Dass Ji College of Pharamacy, Badal, a private college, affiliated to the GADVASU, Ludhiana.
Students who have passed Class XII with biology/mathematics, physics, chemistry and English can apply for admission to this diploma course. Admission will be on the basis of merit of the entrance examination scheduled on August 21 at the GADVASU, Ludhiana. Prospectus and application forms for admission to the course are available from June 9 on the GADVASU campus, Ludhiana and Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani, Bathinda.
Last date for receipt of application forms is July 5 without late fee, whereas with late fee the last date is July 12. The counselling will be held on August 29.
