“He won the last Lok Sabha elections because he promised to make functional the salt mine project at Darang in Mandi district. Apart from this, he promised to get the railway line extended up to the Ladakh region via Manali but even a single metre of railway line could not progress from Jogindernagar,” said Dutt.

“The MP had promised for the promotion of tourism sector and construction of fourlane project. Now, he should tell the public what is his achievements in five years. Due to his failure as MP,  now he is seeking help of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Prime  Minister Narendra Modi to seek public support,” he added.

“Similarly, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur is targeting AICC president Rahul Gandhi to hide his own failures. More than one-year regime of the BJP government in the state is disappointing.  The law and order situation is deteriorating day by day. Roads are full of potholes,” he remarked.

Dutt said the remarks of Modi against former PM Rajiv Gandhi were unacceptable. He said Modi had promised to create 2 crore jobs every year and deposit Rs 15 lakh in the accounts of people after bringing black money from foreign banks. But till now, no progress had been done in this direction. Now he was playing nationalism card to win Lok Sabha elections.
