AICTE PG (GATE/GPAT) scholarship

Graduates, enrolled in the first year of ME, MTech, MPharma, MArch degree courses in academic year 2018-19, are invited by the All India Council for Technical Education, to apply for this scholarship and receive financial assistance to pursue the same.

Eligibility: Students holding valid GATE, GPAT score card with qualifying marks and having general saving account in the bank, are eligible.

Details: Selected candidate will be rewarded with Rs 12,400 per month for two years or until the course completion (whichever is less).

IGNITE awards 

This annual national competition is for young learners, who possess creative and novel technological ideas and skill to innovate something new. The award is open for all the innovators and out-of-the-box thinkers. 

Eligibility: The competition is open for students up to Class XII and those who are no longer a school going candidate, then the age of the applicant must not be not be more than 18 years.

Details: The working or illustrative models and or posters of selected project, ideas or innovation will get displayed at the exhibition. Also, the to and fro train tickets will be provided to the candidate and the one accompanying.

Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Programme 

This programme offers a nine-month non-degree grant to candidates, who are either in their early teaching career at college level or are professionals in English language, English or American Literature, American Studies, Linguistics, Comparative Literature and related fields. The candidates will be teaching Bengali, Hindi or Urdu at select U.S. campuses, beginning in August or September 2019.

Eligibility: Candidates, who will be holding master’s degree by June 2019, having good academic record with TOEFL score of minimum 213 (CBT), 79-80 (iBT) or 550 (PBT), are eligible.

Details: Monthly stipend, health insurance and travel support will be provided under this program.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual European Fellowships

PhD degree holders, who are seeking to undertake post-doctoral in European Union member state or associated country are invited by European Commission to apply for this fellowship.

Eligibility: Applicant must either be a PhD degree holder or have completed at least four years of research work before the deadline expires.

Details: Selected fellows will be provided with a monthly stipend of EUR 4,650, training, networking, research cost and indirect costs of the project.
