Amritsar: Immigration officials at Sri Guru Ramdas Jee International Airport arrested a woman for fake stamps on her passports here on Tuesday. The suspect has been identified as Simran, a resident of Bhogpur, Jalandhar. Immigration officer Sanjiv Walia said the accused had to go to Malaysia from Amritsar in a Malindo flight (OD-272). During immigration checking, the stamps on her passport were found to be fake. A case under Section 420 of the IPC has been registered against the suspect, said ASI Baaz Singh at the airport police station. TNS
