11 meritorious students to reappear

As per the PSEB Class 12 results, 11 students of the city-based Government Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students will have to reappear for certain subjects. Nine students will have to reappear for chemistry, two for mathematics and one for business studies exam. A total of 317 students had appeared, out which only five have got above 90%, 49 above 80% and 10 students have scored below 60% marks.

School authorities say that the result is good as all the students of the school have passed. The students who scored more than 90% include Tashish Soni (93.33%), Poonam (91.78%), Ramandeep Kaur (92.67%), Sarbjit Kaur (90.88%) and Jugraj Singh (90.22%). Daljit Kaur, officiating principal, said, “It is a good result for us. Our students have performed well.”
