The school heads have been asked to send report of teachers, long absence from duty, directly to Sunil Kumar, Assistant Director, DPI (SE), for appropriate action.
The decision was taken after the department found that long absent teachers was troubling working of the schools. In a circular issued through website, the department has asked school heads to send direct e-mail to Kumar with a copy to the DEO concerned for assessment of action. The instructions have also been issued for elementary education. In primary cadre, the orders will be send by BPEOs to Kumar with a copy to the DEO concerned. He will monitor such cases.
