Bollywood flick’s shooting in Pathankot cancelled

Vicky Kaushal, who shot to fame with ‘Masaan’, had been shooting in Pathankot for his Bollywood flick ‘Zubaan’. But the film’s shooting schedule was affected when the Pathankot Air Force base was attacked and the shooting came to a halt due to security reasons.

According to sources, the film has been shot extensively in Pathankot and a few scenes required to be shot during the winter season.

“We had shot most of the scenes during May last year and were waiting for the winters to complete the schedule. The film is a musical drama and Vicky along with other stars was in Pathankot for shooting when the attacks occurred.”

Director of the movie Mojej Singh too shared his disappointment over the sudden attacks and their aftermath.

“I feel saddened that our brave soldiers had to sacrifice their lives. It’s a big loss for us as a country. we were looking to complete the patch work of the film but now, owing to security reasons, we will have to find another location to complete the schedule.”
