Several students in the district have secured more than 90% in the Class XII CBSE exams the results of which were declared on Saturday.
Ruhani Sekhon, a student of Spring Dale Senior School, has made a mark in the city with her performance in humanities stream as she secured 98.2% marks.
As many as 51 students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Majitha Road, have shown exemplary performance. Gurleen Kaur Bal of non-medical stream got 95.6%, Mehtab Singh (commerce) secured 94.8%, Ravneet Sandhu (medical) got 94% and Savreet Kaur from arts managed to score 85%.
Samiksha Kapur with 94%, Mohik Arora with 91% and Sanchit Gupta 90% emerged toppers of Manav Public School. Swati Khanna, a student of DAV Public School got 95.6% (commerce) in her school.
The students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sultanwind Link Road, achieved 100 per cent results.
Students of Satya Bharti Adrash Senior Secondary School in Fattubhila too managed to make their presence felt. Mehakpreet Kaur secured 88.8% in commerce and Amandeep Kaur, a student of commerce at Satya Bharti Senior Secondary School, Chogawan, got 90% marks. As many as 13 students of St. Soldier Elite Convent School secured above 80% marks. The school witnessed hundred per cent results.
