He chose the medical stream. His favourite subject is physics. He is thankful to his teachers at the institute for coaching him for the litmus test. His sister had passed the MBBS from Government Medical College Amritsar last year. He is grateful to his parents Parduman Kumar and Meena Sharma for instilling confidence in him.

Another student of the same school, Saurav Roy, secured the all-India 834th rank.

These students had to redouble the efforts to reappear in the same examination after a gap of two months.

Drishti Chauhan and Akarshak Bal, both students of plus two (medical) of Spring Dale Senior School, secured the 201st and the 11000 ranks, respectively.

Congratulating the students, Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, managing trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, said each year the school lives up to its motto of "Excelsior" by producing excellent results in various exams.

“The school is committed to sustaining its tradition of excellence in all fields by upgrading its infrastructure regularly besides equipping the faculty with the latest developments in pedagogy through training programmes,” they said.
