Dr Sumeet Sandhu’s demise mourned by staff, students

Amritsar, April 26

Dr Sumeet Sandhu, principal of Guru Ram Dass Institute of Dental Sciences, Amritsar, was mourned by the staff and students of the premier dental science institute. Her sudden demise left everyone at the institute in shock and a special condolence meet will be organised in her memory. She will be remembered for her various initiatives and achievements, one of them being establishing the Department Of Oral Surgery at the institute and serving as the Head of Department for 15 years. 

She is survived by her husband Dr Parvinder Singh Sandhu, her two children, Karaj and Keerat. The last prayers for the departed soul will be held at Gurudwara Shaheed Baba Bhukari, Majitha Road, Amritsar, tomorrow.
