District sports officer (DSO) Harpaljit Kaur Sandhu conducted a meeting with officials and coaches to discuss measures taken regarding the preparations for the proposed match under the upcoming World Kabaddi Meet, which is scheduled to be held from November 15 to 28.

She said a match had been allotted to Amritsar, which would be held at Attari, a border village. Shahid Dalbir Singh Ranike Stadium was being spruced up for the occasion, she added. —TNS
