The script of the movie is written, directed by Rajinder Singh Atish and produced by Pooja, who is Gopal Sehgal’s granddaughter. Sehgal was a well-known actor and comedian of the film industry, who acted in more than 70 movies in various languages. Among his well known movies was the Punjabi film ‘Mama ji’, in which he acted with Indira Billi and legendary actor Mehmood.

Gopal Sehgal’s son, Kishore, who was present at the press conference, said, “BMKKG is not a biopic on my father, but a quality family entertainer full of comedy. As a tribute to him, the clap on the mahurat shot was given by Master Nivaan, his great grandson. This picture is the team work of the grandchildren of the artiste for his admirers and fans. That is why the name of the banner is ‘Gopal Sehgal Fan Klub’.”

Sudesh Lehri along with the Sehgal family was also present at the conference. The lead actors of the film are fresh faces. The story of the film revolves around a village simpleton “Gopala”, who is an orphan, but a darling of all the villagers.

The film follows a storyline of confusion, chaos and lots of comedy. The other cast includes Richa Koundel, Ekta Sodhi, Labh Singh, Poonam Labana, Harbans Gautam and Nayna Khedkar.
