Free coaching for civil services exam
Tarn Taran, June 6
The Kar Sewa sect, Khadoor Sahib, working under the guidance of international environmentalist Padma Shri Baba Sewa Singh, has started free coaching for UPSC civil services exams, in collaboration with Guru Nanak Dev University. The classes will begin on the GNDU campus this year.
Baba Baldev Singh of the sect said the faction had decided to provide coaching to 30 candidates, who would be selected purely on merit through interview. The selected candidates would be given coaching at the GNDU’s Amritsar campus, he added.
The sect has established ‘Preparatory Centre For Civil Services, Nishan-E-Sikhi, at Khadoor Sahib. The sect is running a coaching centre for medical and engineering students, besides it has running a national-level academy for hockey players. — OC
