Gayatri Havan at Bhavan’s

Bhavan’s SL Public School organised a Gayatri Havan on its premises to mark the beginning of the new session on Saturday. The students, along with the faculty and administration, took part in it. Chairman Avinash Mohindru, along with Director Principal Anita Bhalla, congratulated the students. Mohindru motivated the students to work hard in the coming session.

Sukhpal Singh honoured

Sukhpal Singh Sandhu has been awarded for his contribution to the field of NCC by Major General RS Mann, Additional Director General, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh Directorate. He was also honoured by District Education Officer Salwinder Singh Samra. He has been honoured for his contribution to the NCC, social welfare and his leadership qualities.

Consumer’s Day observed

CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) has observed consumer’s day. The students were reminded of their responsibility towards the protection of consumer rights. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal appreciated the efforts of the staff and students for the event. Mahal  addressed the students and spoke on the need to be aware  of the market scenario and functions so that  one is not cheated while buying and selling. The institute stated that awareness campaigns were a regular feature.
