The Lifelong Learning Department of Guru Nanak Dev University has announced to start six-month certificate course in cosmetology and another six-month course in cutting and tailoring from January 2015.
Dr Gurpreet Kaur, the director of the department, said the course was only for girls.
“Only the girls with matriculation are eligible to apply for the course. The object of the course is to make the girls self-dependent,” she said.
The aspirants can apply for admission till January 16. The admission forms will be available at the office of the department.
