GNDU students show creative talent

The Botanical and Environmental Sciences Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, organised a slogan-writing and patriotic singing competition.

Department head Satwinderjeet Kaur gave the welcome address and spoke on the freedom movement of India. In patriotic song competition, Simran of MSc- III won the first prize. Poonam Chauhdary, a research scholar bagged the second prize. Kiran, Ankita, Supriya and Shivani of MSc shared the third place.

In slogan-writing competition, Simrandeep Kaur of MSc-I (Botany) won the first prize, Gurpreet Kaur stood second. Anika of MSc- III (Environment Science) and Poonam Chaudary, a PhD student shared the third place.
