Gold chain snatched

A local resident, identified as Ansh Mahajan, was robbed of his gold chain by two persons on Friday. One of the robbers has been identified as Kunal Mahajan of Bombay Wala Khuh in the walled city. No arrest has been made so far.
Ansh stated to the police that he was going towards Gate Hakima on his scooter when two persons threw chilli powder in his eyes near Dhobi Ghat. They thrashing him. Ansh ran towards a nearby park in order to save himself. He alleged the accused snatched his gold chain and fled away.
Balwinder Singh, investigating officer, said a case under Sections 379-B, 323 and 34 of the IPC was registered while further investigation was under way. He said one of the suspects had been identified as Kunal Mahajan and raids were on to nab them.
