Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) appointed Dr HB Singh, a retired professor from the Department of Botany, as the new Principal of Khalsa College, Chawinda Devi (KCCD), here today.
Having an experience of over 32 years in teaching, Dr HB Singh has been Principal of ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga, and head of the Department of Botany, apart from holding various posts including coordinator, NSS.
He joined as Principal of the Khalsa College, Chawinda Devi, in presence of honorary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina here today. Dr HB Singh took the charge of the office from outgoing founder-Principal, Prof Baljinder Singh, who had to demit office due to ill-health. Chhina said Prof Baljinder had been unwell and they had the tough task to choose a new Principal.
Additional honorary secretary Swinder Singh Kathunangal, joint secretary SS Mannan, member SS Chhina, KCA Principal, Dr Mehal Singh, DS Rataul, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were also present on the occasion.
