Amritsar, March 6
Veteran Hindi and Punjabi actor Raza Murad crossed over to Pakistan through Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post along with his family.
While talking to mediapersons here today, Raza Murad said both the nations should conduct dialogue to ease visa formalities. He said he was going to Pakistan to fulfil desire of his daughter, Aesha, in particular. The family would be visiting Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Karachi and Islamabad, he added.
Talking about the controversy, which had erupted over the Indo-Pak cricket ties, he said cricket matches could help develop cordial relations between the two countries, just as films. He said, “Hindi films are watched with keen interest in Pakistan, as Pakistani plays are watched in India. Pakistani actors also work in the Indian entertainment industry.”
