With the aim of honing the dancing skills of students, an inter-school dance competition was organised by Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, GT road.

The them of the competition was Indian Folk Dances. Darbari Lal, former Punjab deputy speaker, was the chief guest.

The fun filled extravaganza offered folk dance forms, such as sammi, dandiya, kolli and bhangra. Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School and DAV Public School, Lawrance Road, claimed first position while Spring Dale Senior School and Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, GT Road, clinched the second position. The third position was claimed by Manav Public School and DAV International Public School.

The consolation prize went to Police DAV Public School and Khalsa College Public School.

Principal Dharam Veer Singh felicitated the judges.

The students left the audience spellbound with the scintillating performance.
