Continuing with the Centre government’s “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme”, the national secretary of the BJP, Tarun Chugh, distributed cheques of Rs 2 lakh among poor and needy girl students under the Raksha Bandhan Parv Yojana.
Students of ITI, Beri Gate, tied rakhis to Chug during celebrations. He said, “Under the campaign, bank accounts of poor girls will be opened through which they will be given the benefit of Rs2 lakh insurance. BJP workers and supporters will bear expenses of opening these accounts.”
The ITI Centre also got a new toilet in accordance with the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan. Chugh also promised a gymnasium and better facilities for the ITI.
