Amritsar, July 15
The dilapidated condition of Loharka Road has irked residents. Residential colonies are situated alongside the road that leads to Loharka village.
The road has developed cracks and potholes. The situation is so bad that even a spell of rain can fill the potholes with water. The entire stretch is in a terrible condition.
Some residents took to social media and uploaded a few pictures of the road on Facbook.
The lane number 7 is in a poor condition. Most of the residents asked the authorities concerned to recarpet the road at the earliest.
Suman, a student, said, “It is not just one road which is in a dilapidated condition, the condition of other roads is not much different from it. The roads here need a special attention. We need good roads for better connectivity.”
