MP Shwet malik was the presiding guest at the event. RMS Chinna, president, Indian Academy of Fine Arts, welcomed the audience with a speech on development and promotion of arts under the aegis of the IAFA. General secretary and convener of the event, Dr PS Grover, presented the report with the help of slides showing actions in images, videos and live stage performances by the summer camp students.

“We have had a tremendous month-long response from the visitors as well as participants in the festival-cum-camp. Our promotional initiatives like ‘Prayaas- Ek Koshish’, an exhibition of art works prepared by the summer art camp students during this period, were highly successful. As many as 100 students contributed 200 art works (paintings, mural art, drawings and sculptures) for the display,” said Dr PS Grover.
