NGO to donate 12 wheelchairs at Kartarpur Corridor

Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust managing trustee Dr SP Singh Oberoi has decided to provide 12 wheelchairs at Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for physically disabled and elderly persons.
Addressing a press conference here, SP Singh said the government had constructed six parking lots for visitors at Dera Baba Nanak. “We will provide two wheelchairs at each parking lot. Apart from this, we have arranged 5 wheelchairs and one stretcher for medical emergency at Jalandhar and Sultanpur Lodi railway station”, he said.
The NGO has also installed a 30-ft tall ‘Ek Onkar’ symbol and ‘Rabbab’ at the main entrance of Kartarpur Corridor. Oberoi announced that the trust would provide RO filtered water at inns and immigration office. Local members of the trust were also present on the occasion.
