Amritsar, June 15

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has decided to extend their swimming pool membership to residents of the city. The form can be downloaded from the official website of the university www.gndu.ac.in.

The residents can avail various facilities at reasonable rates under the guidance of three swimming coaches.

There are three pools in the swimming complex, which includes a pool with international standards and another one for beginners. The facility of changing rooms and showers is available for boys and girls separately.

For daily guests, the membership charges are Rs 300 each for one hour, for outsiders the monthly charges are Rs 3,000 per head and students have to pay Rs 700 per month.

The membership fee for students of the university campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for one- hour session in a day has been reserved at Rs 2,500. For faculty members, employees and their dependent children and former employees of the university campus and affiliated colleges, the fee has been fixed at Rs 3,000.
