The NSS unit of BBK DAV College for Women visited Guru Ram Das Old Age Home to have an interaction with the inmates on the third day of their seven-day camp. It aimed at sensitising the volunteers to the needs of senior citizens and reducing their loneliness.
During the visit, volunteers and teachers of the NSS unit interacted with the senior citizens. Besides, they donated towels, grain and fruit to them. They entertained them by reciting poems and singing songs.
NSS programme officers Surbhi Sethi, Alpana and Rajdeep were also present.
