Painting exhibition brings 20 artists from Maharashtra to holy city

Works of over as many as 20 artists from across the Maharashtra state will be put on display at KT Kala Art Gallery over the weekend. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mohinderjit Singh, senior artist, architect and engineer, along with Baldev Gambhir and Rajesh Raina, board members of the KAUSA Trust.

Paintings by prominent artists are being displayed at the exhibition as an initiative to give an exposure to art lovers in Amritsar. The artists participating in the exhibition include Anil Kamble (Kohlapur), Manpreet Kaur Gandhi (Pune), Faruk Nadaf (Pune), Chandrakant Shankar Bhise (Satara), Sayajirao Nangare (Sangali), Yogesh Pawar (Sangli), Vyankatesh N Narkhedkar (Chandrapur), Sampat Kute (Pune), Pradeep Chaudhary (Thane), Fancis John David (Ankleshwar), Prithvi Soni (Mumbai), A Murli Lahoti (Pune), Appasheb Kate (Aurangabad), Inderjeet Grover (Delhi), Poonam Rana, curator (Pune), Atul Kavesh (Mumbai), Yogeshwar Ramteke (Chandrapur) and Balwinder Singh Saroya from Hoshiarpur. The exhibition will remain open till March 7.
