PCB appoints Mohit Khanna as liaison officer

AMRITSAR: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Mohit Khanna as honorary liaison officer for the two matches of Pakistan in the forthcoming ICC WT20 to be held in Mohali.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Mohit Khanna as honorary liaison officer for the two matches of Pakistan in the forthcoming ICC WT20 to be held in Mohali.

As per the mail sent by the PCB chairman, Shaharyar Khan, Khanna would assist and facilitate the board in various matters related to these matches. He said a number of visitors from Pakistan were expected to cross over to India to watch the matches.

Khanna said it was his second World Cup assignment as he was earlier appointed liaison officer for Team India in 2011 World Cup semi-final played against Pakistan in Mohali. He said he had also worked as manager of Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2012.

The city-based players, who have played first class cricket, welcomed appointment of Mohit Khanna as honorary liaison officer of the PCB.
