Rangoli contest marks Road Safety Week

The traffic police organised a rangoli competition to mark the 30th National Road Safety Week that entered into the fourth day on Thursday. The competition was organised at Sri Guru Harkrishan International School at Ranjit Avenue in which students from as many as 16 schools participated.

Harshitat and Rishika of Manav Public School won the first prize while Kanchan and Damanpreet of Rose Bud Public School attained the second position. Sonica of Sri Guru Harkrishan International School, Ranjit Avenue, secured the third place while Saina Mehra and Kavya Kandhari of Excelsior High School won consolation prizes.

ADCP traffic Dilbagh Singh along with Dr Mehtab Singh, ACP, traffic in charge education cell Paramjit Singh and Principal of Sri Guru Harkrishan International School distributed the awards.

The cops also pasted reflective tapes on vehicles.
