Various religious organisations took out Shobha Yatra processions in the city on the eve of birth anniversary of Bhagwan Valmiki today.

The Shobha Yatra showing episodes from the life of Bhagwan Valmiki like imparting education to Luv and Kush, sons of Lord Ram and Sita, Lord Ram, Lord Lakshman and others became a major attraction among devotees.

Milap Sabha took out a Shobha Yatra here today. Its head Sanjay Khosla felicitated Chief Parliamentary Secretary Inderbir Singh Bolaria, BJP (urban) president Naresh Sharma, former Assembly Speaker Darbari Lal, National Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Commission vice-president, Dr Raj Kumar Verka, Harjinder Singh Thekedar, Congress MLA OP Soni, BJP leaders Tarun Chugh, Kewal Krishan and others on the occasion.
