Review meeting on Smart City projects

Amritsar Smart City Limited (ASCL) organised a city-level directors’ meeting here on Thursday. The agenda of the meeting was to review Smart City projects being undertaken by the ASCL, including ICCC, smart road, storm water projects, sustainable and green public transportation (e-vehicles), parking at the Sabzi Mandi area and other projects.
The meeting was attended by Mayor Karamjit Singh Rintu, DC Kamaldeep Singh Sangha, Police Commissioner SS Srivastava, ASCL CEO Komal Mittal and Regional Transport Officer Rajneesh Arora.
Programme management Consultant (PMC) team of the ASCL informed about the progress of projects and also raised the possible issues which may affect the success of projects. The city-level directors were in concurrence for the need of these projects. and also ensured their support while planning, development and implementation of these projects. They also instructed ASCL team to fast track the planning and release of tenders early next year. —TNS
