Acting on the complaint of Sucha Singh, the police have registered a case under Section 379-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Meanwhile, frequent incidents of snatching, robbery and theft have left the city residents in a state of panic. Residents say the incidents wherein victims suffer a meagre loss don’t report the same to the police. They say the anti-social elements should be arrested at the earliest.
