‘Saab Bahadar’ star cast comes calling to city

The star cast of Punjabi movie ‘Saab Bahadar’, a murder mystery, visited the city here today to promote the movie. Produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Singh Sidhu, the film is set to release on May 26.

The movie stars Ammy Virk, Jaswinder Bhalla and Kamal Preet in main roles. Other stars include Rana Ranbir, Seema Kaushal and Hobby Dhaliwal. The film promises a thrilling experience in an industry that is famous for its comedy productions.

Actor Ammy Virk said: “I have worked in both comedy films and romance. I am excited to be a part of this first mystery film of the Punjabi cinema. It is always thrilling to attempt something new and it feels great when your efforts are awarded positively.”

Jaswinder Bhalla said: “The film is a mixture of suspense, fear, comedy and romance. The trailer of the film is amazing and full of mystery that will surely liked by people. This time, producers have done something different and we hope that the audience will like our efforts.”

The producers of the film said: “We have ‘Jatt and Juliet’ and ‘Sardarji’ franchise under our banner. We have also produced ‘Punjab 1984’. This time we wanted to experiment with a new genre. Jass Grewal’s story provided us with the right opportunity to venture into a new type of storyline. ‘Saab Bahadar’ is the first-of-its-kind Punjabi film and we would like the audience to accept it just like they have accepted our previous attempts.”

The songs of the film were sung by Ammy Virk, Nachhatar Gill and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie’s story promises drama, suspense, thrill, action and comedy which make it stand different from other films.
