Most of the pre-primary sections will open at 10.30 am due to inclement weather conditions.

In spite of instructions from the district administration, some of the schools were opened as per their original timings as the orders of the administration came late at night on Sunday.

The move shall also ensure the safety of children who live on the outskirts of the city.

In many schools, the timings of primary classes and senior classes are 9.30 am and 10.30 am onwards, respectively.

Meanwhile, the SGPC has cancelled the moral education examination to be organised in various schools. The step has been taken due to heavy fog. The examination will be held on November 20 and 21.
