Shaheed Udham Singh School inaugurated on orphanage campus

Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) has opened school and ultra-modern hall on the campus of Central Khalsa Orphanage to provide high-tech infrastructure, smart classes, science labs, joyful, stress free learning environment and recreational rooms to its inmates.
Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial School and the ultra-modern hall on the campus of Central Khalsa Orphanage were inaugurated by CKD president Charanjit Singh Chadha.
The new building has latest infrastructure, smart classes, stress free learning environment and recreational rooms. It also has well furnished, well lit classrooms, computers, maths and science labs with all modern teaching methodology. The main objective of opening school is to equip students of the orphanage with hi-tech knowledge so that they can take up innovative technology as a career, which is need of the hour.
Chadha said the CKD had put up a new mile stone to uplift the education standards. Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial School for the orphanage would be no less than other of schools running under the CKD, he added. He said children residing in the orphanage were not orphans, but a part of the 540 CKD members. He said, “All efforts are will be mad to make these children good citizens of society.”
