In order to clear the rush of passengers, the Northern Railway has decided to run a special train, Sri Ganganagar-Beas (04781), on August 31.
The train will depart from Sri Ganganagar at 3 pm on August 31 to reach Beas at 3 am the next day. In the return direction, the 04782 will depart from Beas at 1.20 pm on September 2 to reach Sri Ganganagar at 11.45 pm the same day.
The special train will comprise 13 sleeper class, five general class and two disabled-friendly second class-cum-luggage van coaches. En-route, it will stop at Abohar, Malout, Bathinda, Rampura Phul, Bamla, Dhuri and Malerkotla stations in both the directions.
