Singer-actor Jassi Gill and Big Boss winner Gauahar Khan were in the city for the promotion of their upcoming Punjabi movie “Oh yaara ainvayi ainvayi lut gaya” here today.

The movie is set to release on May 22. Director Raj Sinha, who was associated with Jatt James Bond previously, said, “The film will take forward the legacy of comedy films in the Punjabi cinema.”

The movie also features BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol and Rana Ranbir.

While interacting with mediapersons here today, Gauahar Khan shared her experience of acting in a Punjabi film. She said, “Away from the busy and noisy city, Mumbai, shooting in Punjab has been blissful. As far as the story is concerned, the audience will carry home a message full of love.”

Talking about the film, actor BN Sharma assured a rib-tickling show for the audience. He said, “You will not like to miss even a single dialogue once you are in a flow with the film.”

Comedian Rana Ranbir said most of the dialogues they had delivered were not a part of the original script. He said, “These are like instant responses and it has lent a unique aspect to the movie. The audience will easily relate to such dialogues.”

The film has been made in a light-hearted manner so that the families could enjoy it together, said producer Mukesh Sharma adding that the film was related happening in every household.

Director Raj Sinha said comedy was an evergreen genre. He said, “People often criticise such films, but at the end of the day the audience wants to laugh aloud and welcome comedy films with open hearts.”
