Several students made their mark in the Class X results announced on Wednesday. Students of Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School, Mall Road, reiterated its rich academic traditions by scoring 100 per cent result in the PSEB exams held in March 2019.
Shruti Narang scored 93.23% marks, Supreet Ahirwar (92%), Khushi Sharma (87.54%), Simran(86.46%), Harmanjit Kaur (84.15%), Neetu (83.23%), Simranpreet Kaur(83.23%), Manroop Jit Kaur (83.08%),Neelam(82.49%), Sandhya Kumari (82.31%), Raj Rani Kumari (81.85%), Neha Kumari (81.54%), Priyanka (81.23%), Navjot Kaur (80.92%), Aarti (80.67%), Kashish Sharma (80.77%), Renuka Kashyap (80.77%), Sonia (80.77%), Ravinder Kaur (80.15%), Palak Sharma (80%) and Navrose Kaur got 80% marks.
Students of Khalsa College Senior Secondary School (KCSSS) and Khalsa College Girls Senior Secondary School (KCGSSS) exhibited excellent results in the Class X examination of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Several students came out with flying colors as Sakshi Joshi of KCGSSS scored 92.36% marks, while Sachin Yadav from KCSSS stood first in the school with 91.6 % marks. Rajpreet Kaur scored 91.38% and Ravneet Kaur 89.23% emerging as the top scorers.
Five students of Ajit Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School illuminated the school and parents’ name by getting more than 96 per cent marks in the school. As many as 160 students of the school participated in the examination and six students got more than 95% marks, 16 students obtained more than 90% and 37 students got 85% marks. Rohit got 96.9%, Ashmit Kaur 96.7%, Gundeep Kaur 96.1%, Khushmit Kaur 96%, and Jaspreet Kaur secured 96% marks. School Principal Rama Mahajan congratulated the students and motivated them to do the same good work.
Akal Academy toppers
Shubhneet Kaur and Gursajanpreet Singh of Akal Academy Dadehar Sahib (Tarn Taran) scored 97.4 per cent and 97.2 per cent marks respectively in the CBSE X Board exam results. Seven students scored more than 90%, 13 got 80% and 12 students more than 70% .Toppers, Shubhneet Kaur and Gurjsajanpreet Singh, aspire to become doctor and civil servant to serve the nation. They credit their success to the academy, parents and teachers.
