‘Surkhi Bindi’ star cast comes calling in city

The star cast of Surkhi Bindi, visited the city to promote the upcoming flick on Saturday. The movie is set to hit the silver screen on August 30.

Talking about her role in the movie, the Qismat star, Sargun Mehta, said: “Every girl can relate to this movie as deals with unfulfilled dreams of a young girl. I am excited about my movie. It is always a learning experience to work with director Jagdeep Sidhu.” She also ruled out a possibility of a movie with her husband, popular television star, Ravi Dubey.

“Currently, I am busy with the second season of Jamai Raja 2. As if now, there are no plans. I hope people will like the movie.”

Singer turned actor, Gurnaam Bhullar, who is playing the lead role in the film, stressed on the space for good content driven scripts in Punjabi movie industry. .

“This is my second Punjabi film. Our cinema is growing rapidly and many good scripts are coming. The move is one of them. People will get good message.”

The film is a package of comedy, drama, romance themed with a social message of empowering women, highlighting the importance of support and understanding in any relationship,” he added.

The film has been presented by ZEE studios in association with Shri Narotam Ji Films, directed by Qismat and Shadaa Jadeep Sidhu.
