In order to clear the rush of passengers, Northern Railways has decided to run two special unreserved trains — Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas and Saharanpur-Beas — on August 30 and September 2. These will undertake six trips to Beas, which is the headquarter of Radhasoami Dera in the district.
The Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas (04011) will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 7.50 pm on August 30 to reach Beas at 4.50 am next day. The Beas-Hazrat Nizamuddin (04012) will begin the return journey from Beas at 7.20 pm on September 2 to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 4.20 am the next day.
Comprising of 18 general class coaches, the trains will stop at New Delhi and Sabzi Mandi stations en route both directions.
The Saharanpur-Beas (04917) train will depart from Saharanpur at 8.50 pm on August 31 and September 14 to reach Beas at 3.00 am the next day. In the return direction, the Beas-Saharanpur (04918) train will depart from Beas at 4.30 pm on September 2 and September 16 to reach Saharanpur at 11.10 pm the same day.
These too comprise of 18 general class and two second class-cum-luggage and brake van coaches. These will halt at Jagadhri, Jagadhri Workshop, Ambala Cantt., Ambala City, Rajpura and Sirhind stations en route both the directions.
