UKDF wins non-teaching employees assn poll

The University Karamchari Democratic Front (UKDF) won the annual elections of Guru Nanak Dev University (Non-Teaching) Employees Association. The UKDF contested the election on the symbol of uddaa baaz (flying hawk).

Returning officer, Dr Shyamal Koley, said Balvir Singh Garcha was elected as president of the University Karamchari Democratic Front , Bhagwant Singh Sidhu as senior vice-president, Gurdhir Singh as vice-president, Hardeep Singh Nagra as secretary, Manpreet Singh as joint secretary, Joyti Parshad as secretary, public relations and Hardeep Singh as cashier.

New executive members of the non-teaching employees association are Avtar Singh, Rajinder Singh, Tejwant Singh, Kuldip Singh, Naresh Kumar Bhardwaj, Satbir Singh, Surinder Singh, Manpreet Singh, Pargat Singh and Sukhwinder Singh Brar.
