University revises dates of holidays

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has revised dates of gazetted holidays as per the instructions of the Punjab government for 2015. According to the circular, all teaching departments of the university, regional campuses and affiliated colleges of the university, will observe holiday for Parkash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Ramdass on October 29 instead of October 9. Similarly, the holiday of Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Teg Bahadar will be observed on December 16 instead of November 24.
The restricted holidays for Shaheedi Jod Mela Fatehgarh Sahib will be observed on December 26, 27 and 28, in place of December 25, 26 and 27. October 9 and November 24 will be observed as normal working days. The university will be remain open during these days.
