White coat ceremony for new MBBS students

Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research organised a white coat ceremony for new students of MBBS here on Thursday.

The students were administered ‘Hippocratic Oath’ by Director Principal Dr MS Uppal. Dr AP Singh, Dean of SGRD University, distributed specially designed back packs to the students.

As part of new MBBS curriculum applicable from this year, a month-long foundation course for the students was organised and white coat ceremony was held to mark its culmination today.
